Orders against ready stock are dispatched in 2 to 3 working days. We fix the transportation cost with the transporter when the vehicle is booked, never by reading a figure off a map.
The stocked band covers 3 mm to 20 mm thickness, in widths of 1250 mm and 1500 mm, at lengths of 5000 mm and 6300 mm. The heavier plate is arranged against the order, up to 100 mm, as per custom dimensions. Plate at 40 mm and under is supplied as-rolled, which covers the whole of our 3 mm to 20 mm ready stock and the 20 mm to 40 mm band we arrange against order. Normalising is available on order at 40 mm and under, and the standard requires it above 40 mm. The delivery condition is recorded on the certificate in every case. Every plate we hold is dual certified to ASTM A516 Gr 70 and ASME SA 516 Gr 70, with an EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificate raised against it.

Delhi trade listings are quoted on a delivered basis, so they are not directly comparable with an ex-yard figure. Freight north, local handling and the seller’s margin are already built into a delivered rate. What Sets the Rate on a Delhi Quotation
Six variables decide the figure on any enquiry:
- Dimensions. Plate thicker than 20 mm, or wider than 1500 mm, carries a size extra over the standard stock envelope.
